Conditions of Participation
- Please appreciate all walks are prepared and led by volunteers who know their walking areas and have experience of leading walks, but, they are not necessarily first aiders.
- All walkers must complete an online booking form on the FFoW website before attending each walk
- Please arrive at the start at least 15 minutes before the published start time.
- All walks will begin promptly and all walkers must be present at the start of each walk, as this is when leaders will highlight those risks particular to their walk on that day.
- Neither the walk leader nor Steering Group members accept any responsibility for loss or injury resulting from walks during the Festival: you are responsible for your own safety and belongings.
- In case of accident or emergency, the name & phone number of a person who can be contacted during the walk, must be provided on your electronic bookingso that appropriate arrangements can be made.
- If you wish to leave a walk before it finishes please inform the walk leader or the back marker of your intention.
- If you cannot make a walk, even if you are ill on the day, then you must cancel your place, as this will free up a place on the waiting list, as well as meaning that the Walk Leader isn't waiting for you to show up.
