Frodsham Festival of Walks Walking Group, supported by Frodsham Town Council, invite you to take part in our nineteenth Festival of Walks.
We are very excited to share with you a series of new walks for 2023!
This year we have a set of walking routes and activities to inspire, motivate and encourage you to get out into the fresh air and get walking.
Who is the Frodsham Festival of Walks aimed at? Everybody! Whether you fancy a ramble up hills and across fields, a stroll along flat paths or just a bit of fun in the fresh air, there’s something for you.
Most of our walks explore the countryside around Frodsham. Many have an interesting theme about the local history, geology or wildlife.
New for this year; Four Trails, Walk Mill, Lost Pubs of Frodsham, Pickering and Dutton Locks and Frodsham Art Trail. Some of the old favourites are; Snickets of Frodsham Revisited, Mindfulness Walk at Snidley Moor and the Bird walks.
All walks are led by experienced leaders, either volunteers or representatives of various supporting organisations. As always, we are grateful to all of the volunteers and organisations who have supported the walks.
There is no need to book for most walks, you can just turn up, however one or two such as; the Family Forest Schools, the Foraging Activities and Frodsham Art Trail, do require you to book and places are limited, so be quick to avoid disappointment. If you want to know more about a particular event, please contact the Town Council office in Castle Park.
Visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/FrodshamFestivalOfWalks to ask questions, share your experiences and tag us in your photos if you would like to have them included in future walks brochures.
